MSPs that solely rely on spam filtering and virus protection aren't doing enough to cover their customer's security networks.
That's according to Barracuda MSP's senior vice president and general manager Brian Babineau, who believes MSPs must embrace automation in order to keep pace with how cyber attackers are operating today.
In the second session of CPI's five-part webinar and podcast series, we discuss why phishing and spear phishing have seen a sharp rise in threat level, and why MSPs should be taking a new approach to email security.
Babineau discusses how MSPs could be instrumental in delivering cybersecurity training and policy for their customers.
"It's a concern for managed service providers who believe email security stops at content filtering, spam filtering, and maybe some virus protection. MSPs need to acknowledge that the attackers are always going to be on the move, and trying to stay ahead," he said.
