Pan-European distributor ALSO has completed its acquisition of Bulgaria's largest distributor Solytron.
The €110m-revenue distributor is based in Sofia and sells products from more than 50 vendors.
ALSO first revealed plans to acquire Solytron more than six months ago as part of its ambitions to become a dominant player in central and eastern Europe.
The Swiss firm has made a spate of acquisitions in the CEE market, the largest being for Poland-based ABC Data, which adds €1bn in revenues to ALSO across five CEE countries.
The Solytron acquisition comes after 2018 moves for RECRO in Croatia and DISS Group in Slovenia.
ALSO claims it is going after a CEE distribution market worth €30bn. With the acquisitions, the firm is now aiming to reach a market share of 20 per cent for the entire region.
The distributor now claims to be present across 13 eastern European countries. It reached €9.2bn in revenues for its fiscal 2018 and has operations in 23 European countries.
