SherWeb was crowned MSP Ally of the Year at Channel Partner Insight's MSP Innovation Awards in New York on Thursday night.
We run through why SherWeb pipped the competition to the award.
SherWeb's entry clearly demonstrated several innovative ways it's making the lives of its MSP community easier through its partner programme.
The firm claims its Not for Resale (NFR) programme allows MSPs to try our cloud solutions for themselves at a discounted price. The aim is to help them learn about the product so they feel more comfortable selling it to their clients.
SherWeb also says it offers growth-based marketing development funds to incentive its channel community. The funds are accessible to MSPs who have a 30 per cent year-over-year growth with the firm, and that show a high level of engagement with SherWeb.
It claims the goal is to drive revenue growth through customer acquisition. And SherWeb provided some solid evidence of how it's achieved this. In 2018 it claims it helped 35 MSPs generate $125,000 of software as-a-service business with 1,200 leads. This works out to an average of $3,571.43 of monthly recurring revenue and 34 leads for each MSP. SherWeb claims it's working on a second version for 2019.
SherWeb pointed to its content agency and social marketing platform, PartnerOn, which gives partners access to free weekly content about Office 365, Azure and Dynamics 365. So far, SherWeb claims more than 500 MSPs have taken advantage of this platform and the number keeps growing every month.
Lastly, SherWeb said it offers marketing and sales tools through a Sales and Enablement Toolkit for Office 365, which more than 800 MSPs are using today.
CPI's MSP Innovation Awards took place in New York on 6 June. The winners were chosen through a judging process by CPI's editorial and senior team.
