'We're never going back to a classic 9-5 work day' - Video Q&A with MSP of the Year Cascadeo
President of cloud MSP Cascadeo claims that his firm will never go back to a classic 9-5 work day even after the COVID-19 pandemic has passed.
Speaking to Channel Partner Insight after winning MSP of the Year at this year's Channel Innovation Awards, Cascadeo president Jared Reimer explains how his company started off as a remote working business, but soon began to adopt an office-based culture as the business matured.
But now after reverting back to a virtual set-up during COVID-19, Reimer said that his firm will never go back to an entirely office-based environment.
"We will never go back to a culture where we tell people 'you must be here at this time, and you must leave at this time'. Because why would you do that? It is unnecessary overhead for everybody and I don't think the business benefits justify it," he said.
"Instead, we will just offer a free lunch day and magically everyone will come to the office anyway," he joked.
