OEMs no longer able to pre-install Windows 7.1 or Windows 8

From this week forward Microsoft will no longer sell any operating systems other than Windows 10. Monday marked the final day on which Microsoft shipped both Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 Professional to its OEM partners. This means that once any residual inventory has cleared, it will be impossible to buy a computer with anything except Windows 10 pre-installed - although some business customers will still be able to roll back to an earlier version of the OS via downgrade rights.
