Nokia announces new CEO as it approaches 5G era
The CEO of the Finnish state energy company has been appointed as Nokia’s new CEO

Nokia's board have announced Pekka Lundmark as its new CEO, replacing Rajeev Suri. Speaking together today at a news conference at Nokia HQ in Espoo, Finland, they revealed Suri will step down at the end of August, with Lundmark taking the reins the following month. "I am confident that the company is well-positioned for the 5G era and it is my goal to ensure that we meet our commitments to our customers, employees, shareholders and other stakeholders."
