Forescout sells to PE at discount after COVID-19 scuppered initial deal
Cybersecurity vendor also drops lawsuit against private equity firm for attempt to pull out of first buyout deal agreed in February

Forescout has sold up to private equity at a lower price than originally agreed before COVID-19 scuppered the deal. The device visibility vendor will sell up to Advent International for $29 a-share, equating to $1.43bn. The deal is expected to close in Q3 of this year. The duo originally agreed to a deal at the start of the year before the COVID-19 crisis hit.
