An AWS outage has brought down websites and apps across the east coast of the US ahead of Thanksgiving. The outage, which hit AWS' US-East-1 region in Virginia, affected some 28 AWS products from AWS Kinesis Data Streams to Worskpaces. We're currently experiencing increased error rates for Kinesis Data Streams within our US-EAST-1 Region, affecting other services within the region.
