Goldman Sachs snaps up Nordic partner Advania
US bank becomes majority shareholder with an eye on further acquisitions, six years after Swedish PE buyout

Nordic VAR Advania has announced that Goldman Sachs is to become its majority shareholder, as of today. The Stockholm-HQ IT services firm, which has revenues of more than SEK 5bn (€500m) has a headcount of 1,400 across 27 locations in five countries. It claims its turnover has grown "in excess of 20 per cent" during each of the last five years.
