Global IaaS public cloud services market reached $64.3bn in 2020 - Gartner

Amazon retained the number one position in the IaaS market

The global infrastructure as a service (IaaS) market grew 40.7 per cent in 2020 to $64.3bn (€54bn), according to findings from Gartner.  The analyst house claims Amazon maintained its number one spot in 2020, followed by Microsoft, Alibaba, Google and Huawei. It added the top five IaaS providers accounted for 80 per cent of the market, and nearly 90 per cent of all IaaS providers exhibited growth.
