Check Point Software Technologies has bought what it claims to be "the fastest growing cloud email and collaboration security company", Avanan. The security vendor said email technologies have evolved and transitioned from on premise solutions to the cloud, resulting in a spike in cyberattacks and an increased threat landscape.
