Global IT spending to hit $4.5tn next year - Gartner

Worldwide IT spending is projected to reach $4.5tn in 2022, according to the latest forecast from researcher Gartner. It would mark an increase of 5.5 per cent from spending in 2021, with enterprise software expected to have the highest growth at 11.5 per cent as infrastructure software spending continues to outpace application software spending.
