A recent deal with global enterprise cloud communications provider RingCentral has enabled Ottawa-based vendor Mitel to take its UCaaS solutions to Western Europe. Under the partnership, California-HQ RingCentral will become Mitel's exclusive UCaaS partner, paying the vendor $650m (€579m) to acquire intellectual property rights and patents covering network and call management, security, and infrastructure.
