Ingram Micro's chief executive officer, Alain Monié, will step down as CEO and become executive chairman following the distributor's Platinum Equity's buyout six months ago.  He has been succeeded by Paul Bay, formerly executive vice president and president of the firm's Global Technology Solutions.
