The global PC market had a rough start to 2022 with three leading analyst houses posting a loss in shipments for the industry's first quarter.  IDC was the first out the gate putting the market at a 5.1 per cent drop year on year. However, IDC added it exceeded earlier forecasts, shipping a total of 80.5 million units.
