Broadcom might confirm $60bn VMware acquisition this week - reports

Broadcom might be preparing to confirm its deal to acquire VMware for $60bn, according to reports. The two companies are said to be in talks, with an agreement set to be announced "as soon as this week", according to Bloomberg. The publication, who first reported the potential acquisition on Sunday, says an offer is likely to be in the form of stock but would include a large cash element.
