Canalys: global smartphone shipments drop in Q2 as economic headwinds blow

Global smartphone shipments fell nine per cent year on year in the second quarter of 2022, according to figures from Canalys.  The analyst claims demand has started to wane following economic headwinds and regional uncertainty.
