Channel analysts Forrester say organisations are suffering 'avoidable' cloud overspend - report

The majority of organisations believe their cloud spend is too much, according to a Forrester survey commissioned by HashiCorp. The 2022 State of Cloud Strategy Survey by the channel analysts found that 94 per cent of respondents are overspending in the cloud. Almost all noted avoidable cloud spend with the top reasons for this overinvestment including idle or underused resources, overprovisioned resources, and a lack of needed skills.
