Palo Alto Networks to buy Israeli group Cider Security for $195m

Palo Alto Networks has penned a definitive agreement to acquire Israel's Cider Security for $195m. The vendor said the deal will support its Prisma Cloud's platform approach to securing the entire application security lifecycle from code to cloud.  Combined with its recently announced Software Composition Analysis (SCA) capabilities, Prisma Cloud will now provide what Palo Alto claims is the industry's most comprehensive supply chain security solution as part of its code-to-cloud securi...
