SUSE poaches industry veteran for CEO position as Di Donato steps down

Infrastructure software solutions vendor SUSE has appointed Dirk-Peter van Leeuwen as their new CEO. Van Leeuwen will be joining the Luxemburg-headquartered vendor starting on 1 May 2023, after two decades with open-source solution provider Red Hat.  Since 2004, van Leeuwen has held various senior management positions at Red Hat overseeing sales, marketing and operations, most recently as senior vice president and general manager of North America.
