Join us as we chat with our CIAs 2018 winners about everything channel
We catch up with Lori Cornmesser at Infoblox to talk about her success and what the channel means to her and the company.
Outline your channel strategy
Infoblox sells 95 percent through the channel. With over 1,000 partners and over 5,000 certifications and accreditations with partners worldwide, it is our goal to arm our partners with the resources necessary to provide a complete cyber security strategy.
For example, we provide our partners with as many resources as possible. All of our employee are trained in 'Channel 101' and are well versed on the benefits of partnering to better serve our customers.
In addition, to facilitate communication between the company and its partners, Infoblox created a partner portal that went live on 8 October 8, 2018, with the goal of continuing to foster partner relationships. The partner portal, designed through partner input and feedback, has been hailed as "simple, easy and useful".
What was the highlight of 2018 for your business?
Infoblox hosted its inaugural Infoblox Americas Partner Summit in November. The goal was to build new partnerships, grow opportunities, educate partners on Infoblox solutions and create transparency of Infoblox's strategy. To me, the event was wildly successful. We discussed our 'Next Level Partnering' initiative and highlighted our expanded global partner program, which rewards partners for their investment in accreditation competencies, such as network, security and automation. Partners who invest in certifications and training receive increased benefits.
What does it mean for you to win this award?
This award shows the dedication and commitment Infoblox has made to the channel community. While the award is focused on individual leadership, my success is dependent on my team. With their hard work and strong relationship building, we've been able to prove our prowess with our channel strategy.
How does your company work to ensure it is delivering innovation?
Infoblox offers secure cloud-managed network services and is the leader in the DDI (DNS, DHCP and IP address management) space. It has over 8,000 customers, including Fortune 500 companies such as Samsung, Adobe, Deloitte, Pfiizer and Walmart, who turn to the company's solutions for increased security, reliability and automation. Additionally, Infoblox's solutions help protect against the rising flood of cyber attacks, leveraging 14 billion threat indicators and more than 30 API security integrations.
For example, Infoblox ActiveTrust Cloud helps strengthen existing security applications on the network through threat intelligence. Last August, Infoblox partnered with the Department of Homeland Security's Automated Indicator Sharing program to enable shared feeds on compromised indicators, such as IP addresses and hostnames.
What has been your company's greatest channel achievement in 2018?
I am most proud of the foundation built before me at the leadership of Sandy Janes, senior director WW partner programs, with the building BLOX program that will now allow us to accelerate our momentum with focused sales play, targeted enablement and more ways to increase profitability. We currently have 1,100 partners and over 5000 certifications and accreditations with partners worldwide and look to expand that in the coming years.
What difference will winning this award make to your business in 2019?
This award demonstrates that our reignited commitment to the channel program was successful. In 2019, we will use this momentum to continue our dedication to the channel community and grow our ever-expanding network.
With this award we set the foundation and strategy to become the vendor of choice with partners, and we will continue to work with our team to deliver programs, assets and tools to better enable partners as they go to market.
