Thales is highly commended for Best Security Offering at CPI's MSP Innovation Awards in New York

We breakdown why Thales was highly commended for the Best Security Offering Award

Thales was our highly commended vendor in the Best Security Offering category at the MSP Innovation Awards in New York.

We run through why Thales' entry was so strong, and why the firm was chosen as highly commended for this category.

Thales made a strong case for how it's transforming from a traditional on-premises provider to become a relevant cloud service provider through its as-a-service security product SafeNet Data Protection on Demand.

The vendor claims the product is made specifically for MSPs, to help them provide data protection as-a-service offerings to their customers and grow revenue their streams.

In its entry, Thales laid out three distinct advantages of the offering over its competition. Firstly, Thales claims there's zero upfront capital investment and pay-as-you-go pricing. Secondly, services can be deployed in minutes, while hardware-based encryption products can take days or even weeks to deploy. And lastly, Thales claims it easily integrates with existing IT products and other cloud services, since it already comes with preconfigured APIs that make it easy to build in encryption, key management and HSM On Demand services.

The SafeNet Data Protection On Demand offering claims to deliver MSPs or MSSPs managed security services that can be immediately deployed for their customers, under their own branding and bundled with their cloud or security services.

CPI's MSP Innovation Awards took place in New York on 6 June. The winners were chosen through a judging process by CPI's editorial and senior team.
