What was the highlight of 2018 for your business?
One of our most important initiatives in 2018 was deploying our multi-layer email security solutions to help MSPs protect customers from sophisticated threats. With the additions of Managed PhishLine and Barracuda Sentinel, we are uniquely positioned in the MSP marketplace to offer a robust security and data protection platform for SMBs, all from a single source.
What does it mean for your company to win this award?
This award is a great testament to our team's focus on making MSPs more successful every day. It demonstrates our dedicated MSP investment and efforts to empower our partners to grow every aspect of their business.
How does your company work to ensure it is delivering innovation?
Our GM likes to remind us that even though change can be difficult, not changing can be fatal to any business. Beyond continually evolving our solution portfolio to help MSPs best address both the challenges and the opportunities they face, we strive to offer new insights and resources on a daily basis to help them succeed.
SmarterMSP.com is a perfect example of that. It's a global website for MSPs interested in improving their business and staying current with IT channel news and trends. We focus on the topics that matter to our partners: security, sales and marketing, better business and technology.
Since the launch of SmarterMSP.com, there have been more than 500 unique posts authored by over 20 regular contributors. The articles on SmarterMSP.com focus solely on helping IT service providers grow their businesses. This enablement focus keeps MSPs coming back for new industry trends, helpful tips and channel-focused advice to help them build their businesses.
Currently, SmarterMSP.com has nearly 8,500 Twitter followers, more than 3,500 daily subscribers and is on pace for nearly 50 percent annual growth.
What has been your company's greatest channel achievement in 2018?
Through our multi-layered protection approach, not only have we expanded our partner base, but the number of partners purchasing more than one product has grown significantly as well.
To help partners take a multi-layered approach to security, we introduced two new products - Managed PhishLine and Barracuda Sentinel - to help MSPs educate and protect customers more effectively from today's sophisticated threats.
Our expanded solution portfolio helps MSPs detect, prevent and recover customers from advanced malware, ransomware, zero-day exploits and more. Within just months of launching Managed PhishLine, it's already won its first award - the SVC Innovation Award.
What difference will this award make to your business in 2019?
Partners are the lifeblood of our business. We spend every day looking for ways to provide them a better experience and more value. This award recognizes our thought leadership in content marketing, which is yet another example of our innovation and expertise that we can share with our partners to make them more successful. It also gives us the opportunity to lift our head up from day-to-day operations and reflect on our accomplishments.
