Italian software giant gains traction in Latin American market

Italian vendor Zucchetti has acquired ERP software firm Solmicro in a bid to grow its international business. Zucchetti offers enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) software. Based in Lodi, just south-east of Milan, the firm has a headcount of 3,300 employees and a network of 900 partners in Italy and 200 overseas.
