Zoom buys translation startup Kites GmbH

The video communications giant said the buy will shore up its translation capabilities

Zoom has announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Karlsruhe Information Technology Solutions - Kites GmbH for an undisclosed sum. Founded in 2015, Kites bills itself as a start-up dedicated to developing real-time machine translation (MT) solutions.
