AWS opens new region in Spain

AWS Europe has announced it has opened a new infrastructure region in Spain, in an investment it claims will amount to €2.5bn of spend over the next ten years. The US hyperscaler giant says the new AWS Region will create "more than 1,300 full-time jobs in Spain over 10 years".
