Switzerland's ALSO Group partners with chip giant AMD

Swiss distributor ALSO Group has today announced a partnership with multinational semiconductor company, AMD.  ALSO claims that as digitisation accelerates, the market for server CPUs will continue to grow accordingly.  It added that in 2022 around 36 million units were sold, bringing in a total of $24bn in revenues globally.  In the server segment, AMD's market share increased from 10.7 per cent to 17.6 per cent during 2022.
